A beautifuly delicate and subtle image. Often photographs shown in negative tend to lack impact because it is obviously just a simple reversal. Subjective content can affect this reading very strongly, ie. certain subjects lend themselves to being viewed in this way more than others. Perhaps the fact that this shot features buildings who's archtectural details suggest places of worship is triggering a particular response in the viewer. This is further enhanced by the ambience of the reversed lighting conditions, a sepulchural glow, a mass of ectoplasmic essence perhaps a heavenly glow.

Yeah I see what you’re saying above Simon, although you have used some rather large brainy words lol. Inverting the image adds something unusual to certain images. With this image of a religious feel, you could say it has added something spiritual to the image. You could say its adding something of a heavenly feel. Maybe God is talking to the individual leading them to their place of worship.
